Party Popper Booster is a rare booster in Candy Crush Saga. It is unlocked at level 29.
Properties[]
After activating this booster, a piñata appears on the screen, two party poppers will blow out all candies and clear one layer of blockers (except some), similar to a cake bomb explosion or a colour bomb + colour bomb combination. The piñata will give the player a wrapped and a striped candy, as well as a jelly fish and a colour bomb and they will replace random candies or blockers and will go off instantly. The party popper booster affects cake bombs, with one slice of each quarter of the bomb affected, unlike a regular cake bomb explosion.
The booster costs 30 gold bars for each purchase. For more recent versions, the booster costs 29 gold bars for 1, 129 for 5, and 219 for 10. It can also be earned as prizes from events, such as the Top Climber event.

- This booster cannot be won in the Daily Booster Wheel or the sugar drop feature.
- Currently, the three ways to receive this booster for free are:
- Playing in Party Time!.
- Finishing major milestones (like levels 2000, 3000 and so on) for the first time can get a full pack of boosters.
- Crushing a golden bow candy (Party Mode).
- Being 1st place in Sam’s Sweet Streak (HTML5)
- Alternatively, it can be bought for 30 gold bars (29 in more recent versions).
- Currently, the three ways to receive this booster for free are:
- This booster was released on 14 November 2017 at 09:00 (UTC+01:00).
- This is the only booster to have the word "booster" in its name.
- This is the only booster that is exclusive to the HTML5 version of this game.
- This was one of the boosters that is available for a limited time, and once the event expires or both of the boosters were used up, it could never be used again. However, it was later made available for purchase.
- This booster was officially released on 16 April 2018 in the mobile version of HTML5.
- This booster has been released in two separate years; 2017 (limited time only) and 2018 (officially and on all devices).
- On jelly levels (since 2017), if there are any remaining single jellies that are impossible to be finished within a 3-move interval, and that there are no blockers behind it, this booster will be highlighted. It is useful even if there are more than 15 single jellies on the board, assuming there are no blockers behind them.
- It can damage liquorice shells.
- This is one of the boosters that aren't tied to any particular special candy (as in, the booster doesn't spawn special candies, cause special candies to appear on the starting board, or add special candies to the candy mix). However, it appears to be based on the scrapped piñata element and converted into a booster.
