For the list of levels with this blocker, see here.
The jelly jar is a blocker that appears in levels where jelly is required.
In jelly-ingredients levels, it may block the path of the ingredients, forcing you to remove them. In jelly-order levels, this blocker can be required for orders.
This may also appear in jelly-rapids mixed levels, where it may block the path of the rainbow.
It takes either one or two hits, making it the first blocker to take a maximum of two hits to destroy (as opposed to the usual one, three, or five).
It's beneficial in multiple ways. Not only is it needed to spawn jelly that you need to clear to pass levels, it also creates a diamond-shaped explosion when destroyed (in a 1-3-5-3-1 pattern around the jelly jar's radius). That explosion can clear the most of the destructible elements except jelly layers.
When the jelly jar is opened, after the above-mentioned explosion, a jellyfish (not to be confused with the special candy) will spawn single jelly in the diamond shaped pattern mentioned above. 13 jellies are spawned from each jelly jar (1 + 3 + 5 + 3 + 1).
The jelly is spread on the tiles regardless of whether or not they have blockers on them. If there's already a single jelly on a tile, it will be turned into a double jelly. If the jellyfish tries to spawn jelly on an empty space or a tile with a double jelly already on it, the jelly will automatically be collected.
Magic mixers cannot spawn jelly jars.

This is the second blocker that can't appear in every level type (after rainbow rapids' mold which can only appear in rainbow rapids levels) as well as the first order element that can't be required in pure candy order levels. It can only appear in jelly levels and mixed levels that require jelly, and it can only be required for orders in jelly-order levels.
Jelly jars have the order number 36. The order icon is an one-layered jelly jar.
As of the release of the jelly jar, there is at least one blocker that has a maximum durability of any number between one and five.
Two-layered jelly jars have a lid with a diamond symbol on top (possibly a reference to how the jelly jar creates a diamond-shaped explosion when destroyed).
With the release of jelly jars, levels may require more than 162 jelly layers for the first time (the equivalent of 81 double jellies, 81 is the maximum number of tiles on the board).
This is one of the few blockers to be necessary for a level; it's the only way to get jelly in some levels.
This blocker has the codes 220 to 221. There are 2 different types, according to the code.
This is the first blocker to be released after the removal of mystery candies and chameleon candies.
This is the first order element since sugar coats to not be required for orders in its debut episode.
This blocker's icon resembles a jellyfish.
This is the first order element to be required to unlock order locks before being required to fulfil the order needed to complete the level.
This is the last element to be introduced before Level 10000.
This is the last element to be introduced while moves levels still existed in the game.
