Legendary level

Legendary levels are a type of hexagon level. They were first unveiled on the King Community website on 12 July 2023.^[1] These levels would be marked as nearly impossible by King, such that their difficulty exceeds even that of a nightmarishly hard level. They are a proper subset of hexagon levels, and are one step above said designator, making them the fourth and highest classification of hexagon levels.

Legendary levels are intended to be the hardest levels not just across the entire map spanning several episodes, but probably in the entire game. Their difficulty would be so high-end that the player would have to use boosters and have insane luck to complete them. Many of these levels would be rated extremely hard or nearly impossible, however, just like any other hexagonal level type, not all legendary levels are the hardest in a given episode or across the game.

Like other hexagon level classifiers, the list of legendary levels is dynamic, subject to a roughly weekly update. In difficulty colourings, legendary levels feature the Fire emoji (🔥).

The level's type colour is hidden and changes to be dark navy featuring a skull with horns, crossbones and red eyes like with nightmarishly hard levels, but it is up in flames and the ring is surrounded with spikes. The colour scheme of a legendary level is similar to that of a nightmarishly hard level, but this time, it is displayed with firefighter imagery as Tiffi dresses as a firefighter.

These levels were initially a test feature, meaning that they were available only to a few selected users when they were announced. As of March 2024, they have appeared in most people's games.

The word legendary means "very famous and talked about by people" or "mentioned in stories from ancient times". It typically carries the connotation of being very noteworthy and significant. This word was likely chosen for its powerful connotations.
