Level 1272 is the seventh level in Diamond District and the 428th jelly level. To pass this level, you must clear 86 single and 73 double jelly squares in 19 moves or fewer. When you complete the level, Sugar Crush is activated and will score you additional points.

Difficulty

• The board is built with a checkered-patterned locked chocolate and multilayered frosting.
• Jelly squares are under all blockers.
• Special candies are recommended for this level. They are needed to remove the liquorice locks and the many layers of frosting. Thankfully, five colours ease the creation.
• The conveyor belt also helps with cascades near the blockers.
• The liquorice shell in the middle will yield a colour bomb when opened, making it easier to destroy blockers and clear jelly.
• The jellies are worth 72,000 points, which is equal to the one-star target score.

Strategy

• Make as many matches near the frostings as possible. Use striped candies to unlock chocolate and clear many blockers in few moves.
• The liquorice shell on the bottom will give a free colour bomb when successfully cleared. Use the colour bomb to open up more free space once it is freed from the liquorice shell.
• The conveyor belt will thankfully block the chocolate from spreading too far. However, try not to let it spread on top of the jellies after you have opened up the space.
• A wrapped candy + wrapped candy combination near the bottom of the board will clear a lot of frosting and destroy the locked chocolate in one move. This is possibly the most effective combination in this level.

• The shape of the board looks similar to level 56.
  • Both boards have a 4x9 checkerboard of chocolate and liquorice locks in the lower half of the board.
• This level spawned sugar drops before this element was removed.
