There is only a 20% chance for no blue, yellow or red to appear on the moon scale. Otherwise you would have to collect the chosen colour(s) before or after moon struck, which is usually almost impossible to accomplish due to the low number of moves.
Should such a scenario happens, six additional candies have to be collected in addition to the three candies the player has to collect two moves after the moon struck.[1][2]
The moon scale is very unstable and moon struck only lasts for a single move, so it is not powerful.
The arrangement of icing may hinder candies from spawning and force you to tilt Odus' balance.
The orders are worth 16,500 points.[3] Hence, an additional 13,500 points is required to earn one star.

Clear as many candies and blockers as possible to collect more orders before moon struck removes a required colour.
Try to set up a colour bomb + striped combination after the start of moon struck, as activating the combination thereafter allows more colour(s) removed by moon struck to spawn without upsetting the moon scale.
