Level 179 was the ninth level in Cotton Carnival and the 27th candy order level in Dreamworld. To pass this level, you must collect 3 colour bombs in 25 moves or fewer. When you complete the level, Sugar Crush is activated and will score you additional points.

Difficulty

• It is hard to make colour bombs early in the level because liquorice swirls will spawn.
• You only have 25 moves, which might not be enough to break through the icing.
• The orders are worth 3,000 points. Hence, an additional 27,000 points is required to earn one star.

Strategy

• To start the level, there will be a row of liquorice swirls and icsting. The icing is blocking the candies from filling up the bottom portion of the board and the liquorice swirls are blocking candies from coming onto the board at all. Create combinations to clear these two blockers from the board. The icing will be more difficult to clear, so focus on clearing these first. Since they need to be cleared three times, special candies work great in this level.
• Once the board is opened, candies will begin to fall to the bottom portion of the board. Although this is good to create the colour bombs needed, it will activate the chocolate fountains. Once activated, the chocolate needs to be contained or else it will spread all over the board. There is no way to stop the chocolate from spreading, so you want to make sure that you are clearing the chocolate as soon as it comes onto the board.
• When Odus’ moon scale is full, moon struck will occur. Moon struck will help you to create the special candies that are required in this level. It will also help you to clear the remaining liquorice and icing squares that are on the board. Be aware of Odus’ moon scale throughout this level. Make sure that you are aware of what colours he is balancing, especially after he returns after the moon struck is over.
