Moon Struck
Template:MoonStruck Notes
Strategy
- Create special candies to clear the blockers and cake bomb.
- Check that the number of candies matching the moon scale are about the same before removing the cake bomb.
Earning More Stars
Reason
- The presence of five colours makes it easy to create special candies.
- The jellies are worth 122,000 points. Hence, an additional 63,000 points for two stars and an additional 133,000 points for three stars have to be earned through matching of candies.
- With the same number of moves and with the same two and three star target scores as its Reality counterpart, they are not much difficult to reach.
- Like its Reality counterpart, the layout of the board forces the creation of special candies or their combinations to clear the lower slices of the cake bomb. This in turn gives plenty of points.
- Clearing the cake bomb will remove one layer of jelly from all the jellies which can candies on them, decreasing the possibility of huge point cascades. Moreover, any special candies will also be removed, further decreasing the amounts of points earned through usage of those special candies. This is less critical due to the moon strucks.
- Moon struck removes candies matching the colour on the left side of the moon scale, lasts for three moves and occurs twice. This makes it much easier to create special candies.
- Even after the first moon struck ends, it is not much harder to create special candies.
Trivia
- This level used to be a replica of level 396 in Dreamworld. Therefore, this is once the third level that are misplaced replicas, the other being level 172 and level 276.
Notes
