Trivia[]

Londintowere

The Tower of London, what this episode resembles.

  • The title of this episode used to be Liquorice Tower, but was renamed to the American spelling in late October 2013.
  • This episode is based on the Tower of London. Hence, this is the first episode based off a country since Munchy Monolith.
  • Not counting Candy Town, this was the first episode to have no timed levels, before the removal of said level type.
  • This is also the first episode since Caramel Cove to contain six or more jelly levels.
  • Although this episode is called "Licorice Tower", levels 383, 387, and 391 are the only levels in this episode to contain liquorice swirls, and levels 383, 389, 392, 394, and 395 are the only ones with liquorice locks.
  • A few days after the release, the ads giving you a life when you run out got removed.
  • At one point, there were no levels with fewer than 35 moves until redesigns.
    • This used to happen in Meringue Moor before redesigning of level 496.
    • In the present there are no levels with more than 23 moves, except for 388.
  • This episode shares its name with Licorice Luna, Liquorice Lounge and Licorice Lair.
  • On mobile, this episode was released on the same day as Pudding Pagoda.
  • This is the last episode to not have its background reused for a much later episode until Scrumptious Studio. The only two exceptions are Rainbow Runway and Waffle Workshop.
