Liquorice curl is one of the blockers in Candy Crush Saga. It is introduced in the 507th episode, with the first level featuring the blocker being level 7581.

The liquorice curl is a type of candy cane curl that can block special candies (similar to liquorice swirls).
They resemble candy cane curls with a different colour scheme, being black, purple and cyan, while candy cane curls are orange, purple and green, respectively.
They can't be spawned by magic mixers or lucky candies, likely because they occupy the spaces between tiles instead of appearing on tiles.

Liquorice curls appeared in five redesigned levels for a few days before the levels with liquorice curls were reverted to their old version.
- One-layered liquorice curls appeared on level 7432.
- Two-layered and three-layered liquorice curls appeared on level 7418.
- Level 7425, level 7450 and level 7452 used to have this blocker.
Though liquorice curls are a variant of candy cane curls, which were introduced after the candy cane fence, liquorice curls were introduced before the liquorice fence (which is a variant of the candy cane fence).
Liquorice curl layers have the order number '33'. The order icon is a horizontal three-layered liquorice curl.
This blocker was introduced exactly one episode before liquorice fences, this blocker's indestructible counterpart.
This is the first blocker to be released since map textures were discontinued. For reference, the final episode with an official map texture was Episode 488, and this blocker was introduced in Episode 507.
This is the last blocker released prior to order locks being introduced.
This blocker has the tilemap codes 168 to 179. There are 12 different types, according to the codes.
