Pastille Pyramid is the 12th episode in Candy Crush Saga and the second episode of World 3 (HTML5). This episode was released on 16 August 2012. The champion title for this episode is Pastille Pharaoh.

Story

Before episode:
Tiffi encounters Tommy the mummy who is very tired and is unable to enter his pyramid due to the rat that has taken the key from him.
After episode:
Tiffi throws three candies on the ground to pile up the sand and to lure the rat. As to thank Tiffi, he willingly returns the key to its rightful owner. Then, when the key is used to open the pyramid, an opening is seen.

New things

• Five-layered frosting () is introduced in level 156. (Brief Description: A blocker that takes five adjacent hits to destroy.)
  • Five-layered frosting is encased in marmalade and liquorice locks for the first time in level 158.
• Four-layered frosting in marmalade is introduced in level 159.
• Lucky candies and their cannons are introduced in level 168.
  • It's also the first level to require candy bombs and chocolate on a board where they don't appear or spawn, as well as the first level where lucky candies can yield said blockers when opened (as well as yellow candies, which are also required for the order).
• Level 169 is the first 3.5-coloured level. Specifically, it is the first three-coloured level in which red and yellow candy colours also appear.
• Flash Only: There is also a new booster named "Bubblegum Troll", which is very similar to the character Bubblegum Troll. (Brief Description: The Bubblegum Troll can make all the chocolate in the board disappear and block chocolate fountains from spawning chocolate for five moves.)

Pastille Pyramid is a somewhat easy episode, with a mean of 3.36. It contains one somewhat hard level: 163, one hard level: 167, two extremely hard levels: 166, and 169, and one variable level: 161. 166 was one of the nearly impossible levels very early in the game until it was heavily nerfed. Overall, this episode is much easier than the previous episode, Gingerbread Glade.

• This episode introduces a character that is second antagonist in the series besides Bubblegum Troll, but just for one time, Gerbil.
• The background on old HTML5 versions does not show the key.
• In the mobile version, prior to Update 1.0.6, the pathtile and silhouette was brown instead of yellow.
