- 1. Template
- Update (13:12, October 5, 2016 (UTC)):
{{Stance}}
template mechanism changed
I redesigned some commonly used templates like {{Delete}}
, {{Disambig}}
by using {{Notice}}
template that used on {{JustReleased}}
, {{Redesigned}}
, and so on.
And I also created template that may quite useful or updated some frequently used templates several weeks ago. However, I think very few users figured out it because they aren't know about other users, so I post these templates on here.
The templates I created or handled are (bold text marks new template):
{{Stance}}
(Note:{{Stance2}}
didn't update yet, will be added if there is consensus about supporting these functions on support and oppose only stance template) (Added reason input and edit count condition - usage1 (must reason): {{Stance|reason}}, usage2 (must condition): {{Stance|condition}}, usage3 (both): {{Stance|reason|condition}} or {{Stance|condition|reason}}){{Disqualified Stance}}
(If the stance doesn't qualify the condition, put this template and give a reason why it is disqualified - like {{Disqualified Stance|Reason must be given}} for stance that must have a valid reason){{Mean}}
(Added value only and name addon option - value only makes the template only features the number (Usage: {{Mean|100|value only=true}}, result 'Invalid mean (maybe some levels have undetermined difficulty) '), name addon makes episode link on the front of the episode mean (Usage: {{Mean|100|name addon=true}}, result: 'Episode 100 - Mean: Invalid mean (maybe some levels have undetermined difficulty) ')){{D}}
(Feature the difficulty with specific difficulty color given on this community - now it supports normal difficulty words like Somewhat Hard or Insanely Hard)
- 2. Image
{{Imagebox}}
may be advanced version of categorizing images because it also makes the specific information about the images.
See this blog post for more information.
And, I made an image policy draft on one of my sub-user page about nine months ago, but it is hard to be highlighted because it is an user page that can't be noticed easily.
I put the link about image policy draft below. (It contains categorization of images) User:DoCheonGong/Image policy
- 3. Categorization
I once made a thread about image categorization, and I'm glad to see that level images mostly have categories, but it needs to be updated when the levels are redesigned. It seems some redesigned level images have often updated categories for the first time, but it goes rarely updated.
And I want to talk about categorization on category pages. I inspired by one of the category page on Candy Crush Jelly Wiki that contains sub-category, this is also applied on some pages like Easy episodes with ordering feature.
I think about some category categorizations on the below based on categorization on Candy Crush Jelly Wiki. (Mostly level related)
- Levels sorted by episode:
- Example: Candy Town levels - Levels by episode
- Levels sorted by blockers, other features:
- Levels sorted by moves, time limit:
- Episode sorted by worlds:
...
More examples will come
If you have any suggestion, please leave the message on this thread.
I may give more idea that I came up with, but it may hard to express with such a long thread.
