Candy Crush Saga Wiki

Over the last few days I have noticed a few problems and inconsistancies over the wikia. And I believe I should post all my findings here. I will try to fix some of them, but I just don't have the time to be fixing the same problem 530 times over. So what I have noticed:

CHOCOLATE IN THE INFOBOX BLOCKERS[]

There is some debate over whether levels with chocolate spawners should also have the chocolate blocker picture included in the infobox, even if there is no chocolate in the starting screen. I just don't feel the chocolate icon is needed in the infobox if there is already a chocolate spawner icon in the level and no chocolates to start.

This is an inconsistancy and I would like to get your opinions on this... and should things in candy cannons also be included in the blocker section of the infobox?

THE OPENING PARAGRAPH OF EACH LEVEL[]

Let's face it. The opening paragraph of each level page is a little... you know, the English is a bit broken. The level pages were starting to be created in July, when the wikia was a lot smaller and standards were a lot lower. The trouble is, now, every level page has the following opening (of course it's a little different depending on the level type):

When you have extra moves left in this level, Sugar Crush will activate jelly fish to eat candies and score you additional points.

How about:

If you have moves remaining after completing the level, Sugar Crush will activate and for each remaining move, three jelly fish swim onto the screen and eat a random square, allowing for extra combinations and extra points.

MERINGUE OR ICING?[]

We've had this kind of issue before with naming. As always, this is my fault for guessing the names of certain elements, as these pages were made VERY early on when this wikia was absolutely tiny and there were almost no standards - any page was good.

But now this whole meringue or icing thing has come to my attention. And whether what we call "Regular meringue" and "Multi-layered meringue" are even the same blocker, for "regular meringue" doesn't break when candies detonated by colour bombs are next to them, as "multi-layered meringues" do.

If we do decide to go with icing, there has to be a hell of a lot of changing and renaming, and things are always going to slip under the radar. Even now I'm still finding "Objective" levels and "Target Score" levels.
